Kalamazoo Mechanical, Inc. Performed the HVAC work at the new 22,000 square foot aircraft hangar built to house Whirlpool Corporations private jet. The buildings ventilation needs are served by a series of large industrial wall fans and motorized intake louvers. The heating needs are served by an in-floor radiant heat system fed from two lochinvar 400,000 BTU condensing boilers. KMI partnered with control solutions to install a new DDC controls system, and tie into Whirlpool’s existing system, allowing Whirlpool’s maintenance staff to view and make changes to their HVAC system from their computers.
