New Buffalo Public Library

KMI Performed the HVAC and plumbing on the new 17,000 square foot New Buffalo Public Library. The buildings HVAC is served by two high efficiency 20-ton split system air handling units; as well as two high efficiency 300,000 BTU condensing boilers. Each room in the library is served by a variable air volume box or radiant ceiling panel to give each room precise control of the temperature in the space. KMI partnered with Johnson Controls to install a new DDC temperature controls system. This system allows the library management to monitor and make changes to the system from their computers.
