Gull Lake Middle School

The Gull Lake Middle School Project involved a large scale renovation of the HVAC system on a tight, inflexible timeline.  The, highly aggressive, eight-week schedule involved demolition of the existing ceiling diffusers in each class room and the removal of two existing rooftop units to make way for the new equipment.  Each of the fifty classrooms received new variable air velocity diffusers, and two new 100-ton rooftop units to serve the cooling and ventilation needs of the school.  Kalamazoo Mechanical coordinated many aspects of the installation with the equipment supplier, Carrier Corporation, to meet the immovable deadline so that students would be able to return to their classrooms on schedule.
